Good Question!

  • Yes! If you are new to pilates, we recommend our Good As New - Beginner class as a starting point.

We will show you how to use the reformer and teach you the basics.

Head to our classes page for more information on our classes.

  • Yes. You must be a minimum of 16 years old to participate in classes.

  • Please wear something comfortable that you can more freely in. We recommend grip socks for safety and hygiene reasons but they are not compulsory.

  • We use an online booking system called mindbody for all bookings.

For the best experience we recommend using the Good Pilates mobile app which can be downloaded from the app store on your mobile device.

You can also book on our website via the BOOK NOW page through the timetable.

You will need to create an account and purchase a class pack to book into your first class.

  • You can cancel your booking up to 8 hours prior to the class start time and you will not be charged.

If you cancel less than 8 hours prior to the class start time this will be considered a late cancel and you will lose your class credit. For unlimited memberships a late cancellation will incur a $10 fee.

If you do not show up to class you will lose your class credit and incur a $10 no show fee.

We do not accept cancellations by phone, email or any method other than our online booking system.

  • Our intro offer is a great place to start if you are new to the studio.

Once you have completed the intro offer there are a number of options based on your level of commitment.

Our memberships are a weekly autopay designed for those wanting to attend consistently 2 times per week or more.

If you are after more flexibility we also offer monthly pack or casual class pack options.

More information on these can be found on the pricing page.

  • You will be billed weekly for the week ahead. Your ‘week’ will start on the day of your billing cycle (the day you sign up).

For example, if you sign up for the a 2 classes per week membership on a Wednesday, you will make your first payment on Wednesday and you can attend 2 classes anytime between Wednesday and the following Tuesday.

You can book your classes as usual via our Good Pilates app (recommended).

  • There is no lock in! Simply let us know if you wish to pause or cancel your membership. We require 14 days notice from the date of your next autopay in writing (email).

  • No. Each client will require their own account to book and attend classes.

Packs are not transferrable between clients so please keep this in mind when creating your account and purchasing any class packs.

  • We recommend you bring a water bottle, grip socks, and a towel.

We have filtered water available for refills.

  • For new clients, we recommend arriving at least 10 minutes prior to class start time so we can show you through the studio, talk you through how the reformer works and discuss any injuries or concerns you may have.

For all other clients, we recommend arriving at least 5 minutes prior to class start time so you can settle in and pick your favourite reformer!

  • We love supporting our new mums and mums-to-be.

To keep you feeling good throughout your pregnancy, our Good As New beginner classes are designed with prenatal friendly modifications in mind.

You will require a medical clearance form to participate in group classes beyond 14 weeks.

*Please advise your instructor if you are pregnant and email studio@goodpilates.com.au for a copy of our ‘prenatal authorisation to exercise form’ to be completed with your GP or obstetrician prior to booking any classes beyond 14 weeks.

To support your postnatal return to exercise, we recommend our Good Baby (mums & bubs) or Good As New beginner classes as a starting point.

Please wait until you have received medical clearance from your GP or obstetrician to return to exercise and let your instructor know so we can make sure you are comfortable throughout the session.

  • No. We have a strict no children policy in the studio for safety reasons so please leave the little ones at home!

*with the exception of babies under 6 months in our Good Baby - Mums, Dads & Bubs classes.

  • If a class is fully booked, you can add yourself to the waitlist.

Going on the waitlist means you are committing to the class if a space opens up.

Treat your waitlisted class as you would a booked class and be prepared to attend.

Make sure you opt in to receive text updates for your bookings.

You can be added to the class any time up to 1 hour prior to the class start time and will be notified by text.

If you no longer plan to attend, please remove yourself from the waitlist.

If you are on the waitlist for an early morning class and you don’t plan on setting an alarm to wake up and check, please remove yourself from the waitlist the night before.

An hour before the class starts the waitlist will lock. If you are still keen to attend, take yourself off the waitlist and check if a last minute spot is available to book.
